Borron</font>], Stipendiary Magistrate, wrote to [http://www.biographi.ca/en/bio/mowat_oliver_13E.html<font style="color:#5489EB">Oliver Mowat</font>], [[wikipedia:Attorney General of Ontario|<font style="color:#5489EB">Attorney General of Ontario</font>]], on October 11th 1892 confirming the opinions he shared in his [[E.B. Borron's Report to Oliver Mowat|<font style="color:#5489EB">1891 Report</font>]]. In his report, Borron argues that Métis families should no longer be included on the [[Pay Lists|<font style="color:#5489EB">pay lists</font>]]. Additionally, he argues that over half of the names on the pay lists are Métis and therefore not entitled to annuity payments. According to Alison Gale's Historical Report, in 1892 Borron made a number of inquiries into those families appearing on the [[wikipedia:Robinson Treaty|<font style="color:#5489EB">Robinson Treaties</font>]] pay lists.
