Bring It Forward

The purpose of this project is to capture and preserve RSMIN's rich heritage and traditional knowledge through a trendsetting and collaborative format in an on-line archive of sourced and cited documentation, known as the RSMIN Community Heritage Wiki. Ultimately, this research will be used in the publication of a history book that can also be accessed by Canadians and the world.

These goals are being achieved through extensive research including interviews of English and French speaking RSMIN citizens and other members of the community. It is important to perpetuate the community by gathering the stories through books, journals and oral accounts of the RSMIN people and educate others on the people's traditions and practices.

RSMIN and the Bring It Forward project hope that sharing the community's untold history will not only bring the community closer, but also help educate others and move toward recognition and healing.
